Project Utkarsh: Turning Civil Services Aspirations into Opportunity
Preparing for competitive examinations requires expert guidance, structured learning, and reliable resources. Yet the high cost and urban concentration of quality coaching leave many aspirants from rural and underprivileged communities without the support they need.
Recognising this need, Jindal Foundation, in collaboration with IAS Gurukul, launched Project Utkarsh in 2021–22. The initiative offers free, high-quality online coaching for civil services, government recruitment, and other competitive examinations, with a particular focus on women and aspirants from marginalised communities. It equips them with the guidance and resources needed to prepare with confidence.
The programme includes:
- Four hours of daily classes and special Sunday sessions
- Comprehensive preparation for Civil Services Preliminary Examination, covering General Studies (Paper I) and CSAT (Paper II).
- Coaching for Government and other competitive examinations, with focused training in English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Data Interpretation.
- One-to-one interview guidance and personality development for candidates who clear the Civil Services (Main) Examination.
