Poor Patient Support

Life-Saving Care for India’s Most Vulnerable

Millions of economically vulnerable individuals in India are unable to access critical healthcare due to financial constraints. With overstretched public health systems and the high cost of life-saving treatments, patients—particularly from peripheral villages in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and beyond, often have no means to secure essential medical care.

The Jindal Foundation’s Poor Patient Support Scheme provides direct financial assistance for critical medical treatments such as heart surgeries, kidney transplants, cancer care, and recovery from severe injuries including accidents and acid attacks. By funding hospitals directly, the initiative ensures resources are allocated effectively and transparently, enabling marginalised patients to receive timely, life-saving interventions.
