Pioneering Accessible Healthcare for Angul
Residents of Angul often had to travel to distant cities for specialised medical treatment due to the lack of advanced healthcare infrastructure in their area. This resulted in delayed treatment and increased financial strain, especially for underprivileged communities.
Jindal Foundation is addressing the healthcare gap by building a 100-bed multispecialty hospital, Jindal Aarogyam Hospital, in Jindal Nagar, Angul.
The hospital will offer:
- Advanced medical services across 17 specialties, including Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Gynaecology, and Orthopaedics, among others.
- Holistic care through Naturopathy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Yoga integrated alongside modern medical treatments.
- Basic and advanced diagnostic services, such as ultrasound, X-ray, CT scan, ECG, and more.
- A dedicated Burns and Trauma Care Centre for emergency cases.
